Play episode

We’ve got 2 great guests for you on the third installment of the 317 Podcast to talk Colts and college sports up and down. We cover basketball, football, and we leave no stone unturned.

First up is Zak Keefer of the Athletic and former writer for The Indy Star. Zak has a ton of experience as a beat writer for the Colts and an extensive knowledge of football. He’s a long time friend and one of my main go tos for hot takes on the Colts and in-depth breakdowns of every single position on the field.

He’s followed by The Indy Star’s Zach Osterman, who covers both college football and basketball, and is the proud owner of a gigantic saint bernard who graces us with his presence halfway through to say hello and have a short pat!

We dive into Nebraska’s relationship with The Big 10 conference, and whether or not we’re seeing the beginning of a breakup, as well as the low-key revolt that has been happening in the conference.

Zach also has some interesting takes on Archie Miller and both his past and future as head coach of Indiana basketball. He also packs a lot of insights into how this pandemic is shaping not only the current sports climate, but details potential lasting changes that could result.

Enjoy the episode and keep basking in the glow of the Colts’ big week 2 win!
