This Bucs and Cowboys Thursday Night Football game should be very exciting with two high powered offenses meeting up. Dallas’ defense was horrible last year. While they have made some nice pickups to improve on that side, it’s still a weakness. I see both teams scoring in what should be a pretty competitive game.
The Bucs will win this game, and I lean towards the over for points at 51.5. I see both offenses continuing to see the same success as last season. I feel like the Bucs lead at the half as well. A Bucs first half moneyline is another play I like.
Starting with the passing yards props for Thursday Night Football, I lean towards under 300.5 passing yards for Brady as he only reached that in 6 of his 16 regular season games last year. If his prop was set a little lower maybe around 280, I would be more on the over, But I feel 300 is kind of high. I like Dak over 288.5 passing yards as I expect him to come out early and prove he’s back to being 100% healthy. I also like Dak over 25.5 completions as he hit that number in every start besides the game he was injured in.
For total receptions, my favorite line might be Zeke over 3.5 receptions at +112. As in his 4.5 games played with Dak last season, he had 24 receptions on 32 targets. I like both CeeDee and Cooper over 5.5 receptions as they are both so dangerous and hard to stop. While CeeDee only went over 4 times last season, 2 of them were in games where Dak had started. He also had exactly 5 catches 6 times with Andy Dalton under center, better qb play will have CeeDee easily see 6 catches. Amari Cooper also hit the over in 9 games last year, and was four for four in games Dak started and finished.
With Godwin a little banged up Antonio Brown over 4.5 catches should be a great play, as he hit that in 5 of his 8 games played with Tampa last year. Mike Evans over 4.5 receptions is also very tempting as he is just so good and the Dallas secondary will have their hands full.
I do not really trust any of the lines for Tampa Bay rushing yards as Jones and Fournette will split carries and with Gio Bernard being the main back on third downs. The split just leaves way too much uncertainty for who will get the most carries. While Ronald Jones did go over 48.5 in 9 games last year, it is very tempting to hammer his over, but it is also very questionable.
Zeke over 54.5 yards rushing is another line I like, as he is in great shape and that offense should be very fun to watch. But with Zach Martin out his path to that will be much more difficult. I also like Zeke over 77.5 receiving and rushing yards as I feel Dak consistently looks to get him the ball through the air as well as on the ground.
