Pistons-Pacers
FanDuel currently does not have any Pacers props posted. Brogdan has been playing some incredible basketball as of late, however, besides struggling against a Heat team that defends the point guard position very well. If they post them, I like his over on points from 18-24. I also predict 4+ assists and up to 5 rebounds. If the odds are nice enough on the 25+ and the prop double, it could definitely be worth a sprinkle. The last time these teams matched up, Jerami Grant shot horribly from the field, only scored 9 points. I could see him definitely playing better tonight, but he’s only gone over his prop in one of his last five. I’m leaning towards under 23.5 points for Grant.
Celtics-Bucks
I like Tatum over 23.5 points as he’s hit it in 3 of 5 and had 30 against them in the last matchup. At +300 odds, 30+ is another play I like for some plus odds. With Thompson out again, the Bucks should dominate inside and on the boards. There are a lot of guys on the injury report, so as we get closer to game time a side will be easier to pick.
Nuggets-Raptors
I love the Nuggets -2 in this game, as I feel they can win big. This is one of my safer NBA Sick Pix. The Raptors have completely fallen apart going 2-8 in their last ten games. Norman Powell has been very solid this season but I’m leaning towards under 19.5 points, as he hasn’t been scoring as much since the team regained guys from injuries and COVID. I also like Siakam over 19.5, as I think he comes out from the tip off ready to go after his fine for his interaction with Nurse. If you’re going to show up your coach like that, you better back it up next game, simple as that.
I do not know if I want to touch Lowry’s points (17.5) with my NBA Sick Pix, just because he has been right around that number in the last two and only gone over two of the last five, even though he has a favorable matchup. VanVleet under 19.5 seems like a play, as he’s coming off two solid games and is probably due for a bad shooting night, because he has plenty of them. Moving to the Nuggets, for Michael Porter Jr., I’m leaning towards over 16.5, as he has been scoring very efficiently and effectively over the past five games. I see under 20.5 for Jamal Murray, as I think he’ll get points, but Kyle Lowry is a huge nuisance to score on. Jokic over 25.5 is tempting and I think he’ll carry the load scoring tonight.
Cavs-Bulls
I like the Bulls tonight and my bet on the spread is Bulls -6. Lavine is likely to have a huge night against a team that gives up its fair share of points, and I think he will score over 27.7, or even 30+ for the positive odds. I’m leaning towards over 24.5 for Collin Sexton, as this is a very favorable matchup coming off a really bad scoring night, so he’s got to bounce back. For the positive odds, Darius Garland over 16.5 points seems like a real play, as he’s gone over in three of his last four games. Finally, I lean towards under 14.5 for Jarrett Alen.
Mavs-Timberwolves
I like the Mavs straight up in this game, as they have covered -8 in every game they’ve won over the past five. They should win this game by double digits and it should be over pretty early. I’ll roll with over 21.5 for Anthony Edwards, as he hit 22 the last time these teams faced off and he should get a ton of shots tonight. I like this matchup for Karl Towns, but I do not like where his props set are at. While he has been scoring in bunches lately, his prop is set almost 3 points higher than his average and the odds are still negative.
Luka has also been putting up points in bunches, but his over being set at 29.5 is not pretty high. My gut is leaning towards the under. He has been on such a streak that he is bound to go under. He only had 26 last time these two teams matched up, so it will be interesting to see if they can limit him from deep again. The Mavs have given up lots of points to centers, so if you like a little dart toss, KAT 35+ as +560 could be solid.
Thunder-Grizzlies
Ja Morant is averaging just under 19 and 10 in two matchups, so I love +400 on 10 assists and Grizzlies to win. With his points set at 19.5, I lean towards over as I think he could have a huge game tonight. I like Valanciunas over 15.5 points, as he has hit that in two straight and three of five. He’s averaging 19 in his two matchups this season against OKC. With SGA out, this game could get out of hand very quickly so just beware.
Suns-Magic
My favorite play is Mikal Bridges over 12.5 points, as he scored 21 the last time these teams squared off. It is just such a favorable matchup, Mikal should get plenty of opportunities for buckets. Vucevic has been playing some incredible basketball all season, but tonight I like his under 24.5, as he’s gone under in his last four games and only had 14 the last time these two teams went at it. Evan Fournier 30+ points is a real dart toss, but he’s hit it a few times lately and for +960 those odds are really solid. I like Booker to hit his over for points, as he should carry the scoring load as usual.
Clippers-Spurs
Demar Derozan has been the topic of trade talks and the Spurs are open to moving him; he should continue to ball out to attempt to get moved to a true contender. Another big game against the Clippers could make a team pull the trigger on a big deal. Murray has been very hit or miss scoring wise, but with the positive odds at 16.5, I am riding the over. Marcus Morris over 12.5 is another over that I like, as he’s gone over in three of his last four games. The Spurs are among the bottom of the league against small forwards, so I absolutely love Kawhi over 25.5 points. I’m leaning towards under 22.5 for Paul George, as he’s only gone over in one of five games and only scored 8 last game.
