Quick Recap
My last NBA betting guide came on NBA Opening Night, as I’ve just been researching and crunching numbers to put together some real success this season. Opening night was very hit or miss for my picks, going 1-4 in the Nets blowout, and 1-4 in the Lakers game. We bounced back big time the following night going 15-7 on my “sick pix.” Just missing Jimmy Butler over 19.5 points (scored 19…) and Markelle Fultz over 5.5 assists (5 assists). Since then, I have been grinding out picks to grow my knowledge for player props and to gain some confidence. Profiting over $750 off NBA games the past two days with little invested.
Nets-Hawks

My favorite play is under 239.5, while both teams can score at ease, that is just a very high total. Nets -6 is another play that should easily hit. Sure, the Hawks are 3-0, but against the Grizzlies, Bulls, and Pistons so that’s not a surprise. I like John Collins under 27.5 points, rebounds, and assists, due to him only averaging 14, 6, and 1 this season. I also like him under 18.5 points. De’Andre Hunter over 1.5 made threes is another play I like as he’s been letting it fly from deep hitting 5 of his 11 attempts since connecting on his 1 attempt opening night.
As much as I like Trae Young under 8.5 assists I am not super confident and could see him sneaking in 9 but very I am confident he doesn’t reach 10 for the double-double. Cam Reddish under 12.5 points should be an easy hit unless he randomly goes off. Under 4.5 assists Kevin Durant is a solid play, he will cap out at 4 assists tops. I will ride the over 25.5 on Durant’s points though, as he has been red hot from the field (53%, 69% from deep). Kyrie over 2.5 made threes is my final play of this game.
Mavs-Hornets
My favorite play in this game is by far Terry Rozier over 18.5 points. He has been very solid so far and has had success against Dallas last season (22 ppg in two matchups). I also like Gordon Heyward over 17.5 points as he averaged 20+ on Dallas over his last four trips there. While the Mavs should win (ML -335) over 223.5 might be the better choice. I probably will not touch it, but the Hornets +8 is definitely a better play then Mavs -8, as both teams are putting up very similar stats.
While I know Luka will have a great game, I am riding the under on all of his props (30.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 9.5 assists). Those props are all just set very high. I think he ends with 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists at most. Devonte’ Graham over 5.5 assists is a sneaky play. He has recorded 10+ assists in both of his previous matchups with the Mavs.
